From 1965 to 1967 there were approximately
245 Aircoupe, A2 Aircraft built by Alon! Of that number 191 are
still registered with the FAA. That means 54 airframes are either, Junked,
wrecked, not registered, or out of the country. That means 78% are still
registered after 38 plus years of service. I'll bet you would have a hard
time finding a car or sewing machine, or refrigerator with that kind of
record.
