trim for 95-100 mph indicated
trim for 200 fpm and take whatever speed results.
there's a third option, back off on power a tad and trim to be able to see the horizon over the dash. helps with those 'traffic 12 o'clock 1 mile, opposite direction, same altitude' calls
On the other hand you might need a best rate climb flying to Catalina
Island from LA,at a 10:1 glide ratio, 10,500 msl west bound should give me 105,000 (21 mile) glide. but somethings wrong here because a c150 has a 15:1 ratio (doesn't it?)and at 10,000 feet you are to figure on a 15 mile glide. what's wrong?
