The engine is on display but it will be a couple years before #1 is ready
for display.

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if any of you have been to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy
Center(new part of Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. I'm planning a trip
to
head to DC, and wanted to take a peek at good old S/N 1. It looks as if
the
smithsonian(Acording to their website) doesn't have it on display right
now.
It was at the Garber Facility, but they no longer allow public tours. Is
there a place I can see S/N 1? It does look like they have the IL-116 on
display at Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, but no coupe..

Thanks
