I was taught to fly 20 years ago, and don't care either way, except I want

them on a plane that
needs them (like a Citabria or a Stearman).

I never feel like I lack 'full control' and done right, the 'grab is no 
different than a
'kick' of the rudder to transition from crab to slip.
