You are of course correct.  You will have to fly with your eyes open.  I
didn't suggest that the Topo program gave aeronautical information.  It
doesn't.  It will however get you there without running into a hill.  And,
it'll take you to the airport.  For other information, you'll have to use
your flight guide, and having charts could help.
