In the past there have been quite a few
messages regarding gross weights and the question as to whether or not one
should ever fly over gross.
During some hangar
talk last week, an instructor said "I'have no qualms about flying over
gross. He said that the FAA permits planes in Alaska to fly 10% over
gross.
