TOf course there is the " Hare Coupe" too!

        Thanks to all -

I do have a couple of names I am considering...

Its odd, I am new to flying and just sort of expected people to name their planes,
even the newer ones that have a lot less charisma,

I asked my friend who introduced me to flying and who found the plane I bought, what the name
of his plane was....there was a very long silence and a laugh ' What?!?

I asked my CFI, an afficianadio of older planes (she has a J3 cub) - she wondered why as well.
I hoped she was not just trying to humor me - her plane had no name.

Well I thought, I'll ask my hanger neighbor...

Okay - Okay... you get the idea

Their reactions didn't stop me tho

Any plane with that much personality and is that much fun, IMHO begs namming.

Thanks,

Scott

Subject: Re: [COUPERS-FLYIN] Name

When I bought a "G" for my first wife, long time ago, she noticed in the log book that it flew for the first time and was accepted on Feb 14, 1949. She named it Valentine. Both she and Valentine are ex's. My present wife is expecting her "coupe" any day now. Pssst... I think she knows.
