To be fair, we need both to boo the bad and cheer the good.
I never tought I would find myself cheering the FAA, but I am, since I learned
that they are fining the city of Chicago for closing down Meigs Airport
without the proper due notice.
If you recall, some time ago, the mayor of Chicago (Dailey?) ordered
bulldozers to tear this airport's runway in a despicable, unannounced,
overnight raid, which even left planes stranded there.
Recently, I read that the City of Chicago and the FAA are currently engaged in
a legal battle over the fine. Is good to see the FAA doing the right thing.
