Hi all, After surviving 30 hours of instruction (25 in my Ercoupe, Gilda) I finally soloed today. I did six good take-offs and landings at two local airports with one simulated power-out emergency landing to a stop, when my instructor asked if I was ready to try it myself!! Some signatures and a handshake later and I was on my own. I did three landings to a stop and went in to the FBO to the congratulations of all there and a new "I soloed" coffee mug.   Gilda sure climbs better with just me onboard!  I'll be the first Sport Pilot trained out of KEKA. Can't wait to fly some more on my own.   Linda N93443
