Subject: Fantasy of Flight Young Eagles Rally

Free Gift of Flight

For children ages 8 – 17

You are invited to take to the skies and become a Young Eagle!

Young Eagles Fly-In
October 28th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Fantasy of Flight is hosting a flight Rally, in partnership with the EAA Young Eagles program, giving children ages 8-17 the gift of flight. The Young Eagles program is dedicated to giving young people the opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers. More then 20 pilots will descend on Fantasy of Flight in a concerted effort to give children one-on-one experiences with the pilots, being introduced to all aspects of flying.

You will see the earth and sky in a new and exciting way. You will experience the wonderful freedom of flight that many people only dream about. Like an eagle, you will soar among the clouds and understand the many possibilities that flight have to offer. You will remember this experience for the rest of your life!

Participants will learn about flight including pre-flight inspections, identification of parts that control the airplane and of course the flight itself. Student registration will be held from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. In order to assure every student participates in a flight, registrations will not be accepted after 2 p.m. Students must have a parent or legal guardian present in order to fly with a pilot.
