pilot and Ercoupe owner should write ever congressman and senator and
ask them to pressure FAA into raising the weight limit to 1400. This
can only be effective if a large multitude of pilots and owners
participate. I know there are many folks that want to sit by and let
others do the work and then harvest the benefit of other's efforts. I
know this because I go to church and see how few are there on Wed
night, how few actually participated in supporting the Boy Scouts and
Little League. It does seem that only a few actually are willing to
do much. We will require a mass of people to get this done.
Were my wife not terminal and the need for me to constantly attend to
her I would volunteer to go to the hated (by me) Wash D.C. and lobby
receptive representatives and senators to get this done.
How about a show of hands for those willing to work toward this goal
by at least writing representatives at the Federal level.
