In my opinion, we could solicit assistance from the AOPA and every LSA pilot and Ercoupe owner should write ever congressman and senator and ask them to pressure FAA into raising the weight limit to 1400. This can only be effective if a large multitude of pilots and owners participate. I know there are many folks that want to sit by and let others do the work and then harvest the benefit of other's efforts. I know this because I go to church and see how few are there on Wed night, how few actually participated in supporting the Boy Scouts and Little League. It does seem that only a few actually are willing to do much. We will require a mass of people to get this done. Were my wife not terminal and the need for me to constantly attend to her I would volunteer to go to the hated (by me) Wash D.C. and lobby receptive representatives and senators to get this done. How about a show of hands for those willing to work toward this goal by at least writing representatives at the Federal level. Lee Browning Panama City, FL
