Folks,
I'm planning to arrive at Appleton on Saturday (commercial airlines), rent a
car and drive to Oshkosh. Even though it doesn't officially open until Monday,
is it possible to enter the grounds, get oriented, and basically get an early
start?
Also, I wouldn't mind camping with the Ercoupe group, but how would the
logistics work out as far as getting camping gear there? And who would share
their airplane parking space with another camper, etc. Right now, I'm planning
to stay at the Ripon College dormitory which I did last year. Any thoughts on
the camping (plan #2) feasbility of this or do you think it would be best just
to go with plan #1-Ripon College. I certainly don't want to interfere in
anybody's space.
