I've never flown down the Hudson, but here is a website of a local pilot and
his recommendations;

If you are flying to FDK, there is a small airport on your route called
Clearview, that while it has the shortest runway in Maryland for a public
airport, it has a nice little pilot shop.  A fun stop.

Becareful of the DC ADIZ and Camp David.

I am not sure if I am going to the fly-in, but if I am I may be able to give
some folks a ride over.

The AOPA Fly-in is set for the first Saturday on June 7.

I suspect that several coupers from New England, NY or NJ are planning to go.
Would it work to meet up someplace like  CDW,  FWN, SWF, HPN or
4N1   on Fri evening, have a motel overnight and then fly as a group
down the Hudson River seeing West Point, Bridges/tunnels and the Statue with
opportunity of taking air shot photos of all coupes in the group enroute? Has
any couper done the River corridor? Does any couper live near a usable airport
and be willing to help? - get uptodate info, frequencies, provide ground
transportation, etc??

Maybe this is something EOC could "do". I suspect some besides myself in
Ohio would join up with this adventure. That's why I'm proposing it!
