Hello All:
I have had a problem with my vacume pump becoming contaminated with oil
because of a small oil leak near the pump. This is on a Alon with a C-90.
The pump had not been rebuilt in over 10 years so I purchased a rebuit
Airborne pump. The original pump had very small vents for cooling and was
not easily contaminated and lasted many years but the Airborne has large
vents and became contaminated in just a few hours.
Does anyone know where I could have my original pump rebuilt? The pump is
marked EDO-AIRE model 1U128A.
When I purchase the Airborne pump they would not take my original for a
core because they told me it could not be rebuilt.
