Hi Dan- hope the posts about'rud's not centering help'I had weak pedal
springs & finally replaced them in 99
Univair has them : rudder pedal centering spring, p/n 52393( 1999 price
$2.96ea) part of kit SK-21 I was lucky to get a copy of kit parts. However,
I'm sure Univairwould help with just an item description. If one spring is
broken I'd replace both,(better chance for equal tension on pedals. Good
luck. Ted Sac.Ca.

Subject: [COUPERS-FLYIN] Fw: Rudders Not Centering

Hello Coupers,

I have the rudder petals (Univair type) in my coupe. Since my last
flight, the rudder is kicked over to the left. It seems as if a rudder
center/return spring for the right side has broke or come lose. The
rudders operate properly when working the petals, but there is tension
pulling the rudder to the left. My question is, are there rudder return
springs? and where are they located? Has this happened to anyone out
there? Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Dan
