I just received my wing tanks back from John Wright Jr. after he rebuilt them and they really look great, the spotlessly clean interiors (and exteriors) are such a sharp contrast to the previous, dark sealer sloshed inside with stuff flaking off look. Now it's off to the paint shop before I can reinstall, which leads me to "today's question"-the leading edge root fairing had a silicone/rubber like bubble gum pink colored material applied to the bottom side where it contacts the wingtanks for sealing. Page 4-2 of the M-10 service manual refers to it as PR1321-B sealant. Any suggestions what that sealant was/is ?? I am proceeding with caution here as some common silicone sealers are corrosive to aluminum. Any suggestions ??
