I have a Stromberg NAR-9 carb and a question. The accelerator pump circuit passes through a sort of valve assembly that is part of the mixture control shaft. It appears that under certain conditions the accelerator pump output is connected to a passage that looks like it is intended to mate with a flared fitting. There is a plug in this fitting, so it goes nowhere. Does anyone know what this was fore and how it worked?
