Hello all,
I am pushing on with the annual of my M-10, got the wing tanks that John
Wright Jr. rebuilt back from the paint shop and am reinstalling along with
misc. new bits and pieces like quick drains, fuel gauge lens and gaskets,
etc.
Anyhow....... I have the nose elevated to replace the nose tire & tube,
and
discovered a certain amount of play, I can move the nose fork fore and aft
more than I think I should. Pending disassembly, I would guess the lower
bushing, also I have had a leak of fork fluid, so I was prepared for o
ring
replacement anyhow. I will say that I had no steering/shimmy issues but
I'd
rather not wait till those things come along. My question is this: Univair
has a "Nose Gear Service Kit for Mooney M-10 with bronze bushing"
SK-31C-WB,
does anyone know if this contains all the needed components for a through
strut servicing?
Thanks,
Scott Engelhart
