Hi Everyone, My annaul is finally finished, with one exeption: The spinner has a crack (it's been repaired, but the A&P says that is a no-no). I ordered a new one from Univair, but it is nowhere near the correct size. I am away from home (yet again), so I dont have the exact numbers, but the base of the new spinner is way too big... Are there more than one kind of spinner available at Univair? I have a McCauley metal prop... A&P seems to think that it's ok to fly the plane for now without the spinner until we can figure this out. Anyone disagree? What effect is this going to have on performance? BTW, I am reading Wolfgang Langewiesche's "Stick and Rudder", and he mentions the Ercoupe favorably, twice..... It's a great book, as most of you already know...
