----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Yes, my mechanic and I submitted it to the Milwaukee FSDO, who said it didn't have enough strength due to the fact that it was attached to the airframe by only 5 1/8" rivets, which likely would shear off in a crash. I would guess that other mechanics have also tried to get the Falconar design past the FAA with no success, but I may be wrong.
