Has any of you converted to a 0-200 removed the header tank and installed the 15 gallon wing tanks. DICK & NANCY [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Dick: I had a long conversation with John Wright Jr. concerning this very modification.He is of the opinion that the Skyport wing tanks are trouble. He has had a number of failures where the internal welding inside the tanks have broken free. No way to fix according to John. In addition, he doesn't like the plumbing. John Wright Sr. and Jr. are VERY experienced when it comes to the Coupe and my discussion with John Jr. convinced me to drop the idea. I was looking for the eccentric for the cam and trying to figure how I could sneak 3K out of the grocery money. I have noticed that someone else has an STC for removing the header tanks and adding extra wing tanks. There is a Coupe on my home field with the 0-200 and the Skyport wing tanks. I'll dig up his e-mail address and shoot it to you when I find it. You can bleed his brain to see if he's had any trouble or not.
