Yes-his license will have restriction(2-control coupe only).He could take most of training in your coupe/written,oral,etc) than a few hours in spam can 150/152, with check ride in same.Than his lic. will have no restriction. Better yet, install rudder kit & take all training in your coupe with no restricted lic. Good Luck.
