I have a C-85 (according to the logs), but no baffles around the oil. My
temps run a bit low =
160 on the last cross country (2 legs of 1 hour each). I do have new
seals
around the baffles
between the top and bottom of the engine, though. Also plugged a small
hole from the front
(right behind prop) directly to the bottom of the engine. Remember, that
it all works on
pressure differential, and just a bit more pressure below the engine can
cause elevated temps.
