In this month's photo 'centerfold' from
Sun N' Fun, there is an Ercoupe pictured.
It's a lower serial-number one, having a
N99... number, obviously at least originally
a C, but I think I spied extended baggage.

It's captioned as having the 'original
throttle and mixture quadrant' when what is
in place is actually a G-model quadrant, which
we all know is throttle and trim.

But the yokes and glove compartment
doors are there. As are the aileron
weights an the nose strut fairing.

It still amazes me how freely people will
speak with authority about Ercoupes, when
they just don't know what they're actually
looking at...
