My C-90 ran hot after being miss-timed at an annual.
This problem was corrected, but temp was still
indicating hot. Replaced baffle seals, filled all gags
and holes in baffling with RTV. And numerous other
suggestions from A&Ps etc. Still indicating 200+.
Finally purchased new TSO'd electric temp gauge. Fixed
problem. Now runs at 110 above ambient up to a maximum
of about 180 indicated (even in SC summer), unless
performing 'perfomance' climbs and slow flight etc, in
which case it indicates a little higher.
