rebuilds on their coupes.
What have you done about the engine mounts. I was
talking today
to a certified shop here that is recommending the
mount be stripped,
magnetic particle inspection, repaint and corrosion
protect inside for
400 dollars. Sounds like a good idea, but is there
a less expensive
way to approach the mount while still being able to
inspect it to the
same standard?
Also....how far do you carry this procedure. Is it
advisable to also
remove the fusalage mounts (drill out rivets) and
perform a similar
check on them?
