----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----Hi Steve; I forwarded the message with the part number (Wagner Part Number F2936) to tech. If you lubricate the seal with DOT-3 fluid prior to putting it together, then rotate the barrel slowly as you push it upwards, over the piston with the seal on the end, it seems to go OK. The hard part with the new seal, which costs less than $2, is to make the hole directly in the center of the seal.
I still order from Skyport with no problems. If you need information to make the order, Ron Bush will call you back as soon as he has time. Yes, I have called Lee at American Champion Aircraft to obtain information, but he is busy, and only kept paper copies of his information. I think if you are polite and tell the person that answers the phone you want to tell Lee hello and see if he has time to answer a question, they will probably help you.
Expect that if you do not know the part number you need, it will be a while before Ron can call you back and determine what you are looking for. The gal answering the phone is doing just that. Answering and passing messages.
Lynn
