----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Help!
My VR just quit on me after a 2 hour flight around
Long Island. Fortunately for me, it was on the ground after a rest stop at
my home base of Brookhaven (HWV). The question is now, what do I replace
it with? It looks like a standard automotive Delco-Remy regulator, but is
it? Does it have to be replaced with an aviation part number for about
$150 from Skyport or can I pick it up at Pep Boys for a lot less and do it
myself?
