----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----John; Greg is right about the rigging. The Alon Aircoupe came with trim tabs on both ailerons. They were about 5 inches long by 1 and 1/4 inch wide and fastened on the bottom edge just inboard of the skin lap joint out by the last hinge. They usually were fastened with 5 of the edge rivets starting about 2 or 3 rivets inboard from the joint.
If your Coupe is reasonably straight, it can most likely be rigged to fly straight and level without the trim tabs. However, sometimes you have no choice after the Coupe has been bent/repaired.
