I want to replace the trim wire and casing in my Ercoupe. I Ordered some parts from Univair, but what I received is not equivalent to what is installed in my Coupe. In my coupe, the trim cable is in two pieces, and of a type exactly like you might find on a lawn mower. itÂ’s a wound-wire outer casing, with the "piano" wire inside.
