Also the backplate for the spinner hub has a crack in it ... so ... anyone know where I can get another backplate? The hub has eight small pan head bolts that secures the hub to the plate.

Recalling annuals past, when I had to remove the prop spinner to look for exactly what you found, that there were two rows of
screws. One did indeed go to the back plate and to the spinner, and I seem to recall there were about eight there. Another 4
went to a spider-like plate that was on the Front of the prop. Could that part be missing? Because, if so, you're going to go
through a lot of backer plates...
