A question about nose gear bushings.
How much play is allows in the gear nutcracker
assembly.
I have less than 1/16th inch...probably around
1/32nd
play in the bushings. How much is too
much.
And....how do you remove the bushings.
I have removed the bushings from the centre
hinge
side of the nutcracker...but the fork end bushings
won't budge...either the ones on the nutcracker or
on the gear side.
I was thinking of taking it into a machine
shop...
but was wondering if there is an easier
way?
