A reminder, if you use those nifty No-blow exhaust gaskets on a small
Continental, you should grind a flat on two of them. If you don't they
will
wear on the adjacent intake manifold. The last three engines I have run
into
have not had this done and sure enough there is a significant groove worn
into the intake casting. The diameter of the no-blow gasket is quite a bit
larger than the standard.

I suspect that this also contributed to the serious exhaust leak I
encountered on the engine I'm presently working on.
