Yes, my mechanic and I put nut plates in the fuselage to accept #6-32 machine screws for the wing root fairings.  It really does make removal/installation a quick & easy job.

Has anyone replaced the numerous #6 bolts and nuts on the wing root fairings with nut plates?  This would make wing fairing and wing tank removal a one person job, and eliminate the removal of the floor boards.
