Mike: just because the shop has a good reputation does not mean that the
individual doing the work is thorough. I had the same type of problem 30 years
ago with Beechcraft West in Fresno, and have not let anyone else touch my
airplane but me since. Yes, I am slow, and may miss an item once in a while, but
at least I know what has been done, and that it is complete when I get
through.
