I replaced the word "castors" (used as a verb to refer to the restorative forces on the nose gear upon landing) with "turns" from my web page. Personally I think Avweb was just trying to blame someone else for their original error since my site referred to the nose gear, not the main gear, and the verb "to castor" is not the same as "castoring nose gear" as used in the aviation sense to refer to the steering arrangement on Tigers, Cirri, and Lancairs. But better to take the offending word off than expect anyone to do any research David Abrams [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://ercoupe.com ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers-tech/
