My mechanics use cable ties in most of those locations. Clamps are only
used
where they need to be per design.
After all, the clamps are there only to avoid the lines moving around and
chafing itself useless. This can be done with cable ties the same way or
even much better.
You use two cable ties to attach something. One tie loops around the steel
tube or where ever you want something attached to, the other loops through
the first tie and holds the cable, line or what ever.
That way the connection is tight, but flexible. It can't go any better.
Don't tie your stuff with only one cable tie- you might create a chafing
point right there.
