Based on my experiences with Univair, I have to agree with Don. I live
in the southeast and Bill has always been my sales rep. He has never
hesitated to go out in the back and find out what they have.
They even manufactured a part for me, the brace between the tops of
frame 'E', when they were out of stock. I received it in 8 working days
from my request and the price was reasonable. I also bought the trim
system conduit from cockpit to the tailcone and after receiving it
decided that it would be very simple to make myself. I returned it and
was given a prompt refund. When I needed the aileron skin stiffeners to
replace those found corroded (yes the inside of the ailerons are another
place where corrosion hides, who looks inside of the ailerons?) Bill
pulled the drawings and sent me a sketch identifying the pieces and part
numbers. I received the sketch the next day by email. Not bad.
My experience with Bill at Univair and Lee when he was at Skyport has
been pleasant and productive.
