Thanks, I have a log book entry dated 7/19/80 that states “Removed original nose gear strut assy and replaced with W.E. Commings Inc P/N F34450 nose gear assy per WECI instructions.”  Has anyone heard of this? A year or so later the firewall forward was repaired so I don’t know if this nose gear is still installed.

Is anyone familiar with the W.E. Cummings nose gear P/N F34450? From the part number it appears to be a Forney part number. Is this the standard Forney nose gear?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

F34450-1 is the Forney 500 x 5 Wheel
F34450-1 is the Forney 500 x 5 Tire
F34450-1 is the Forney 500 x 5 Tube

F34371 is the Forney 500 x 5 (Double) Wheel Fork

Early Forneys used the Erco 5" (Single) Wheel Fork
