Alan , 60 could be a good number for rotation depends on load , density alttiude as a general rule dont yank literally ,the plane will do it's thing if it's ready all things considered.I rotate solo at 55, w/passenger 60-65. Also what kind of prop do you have climb -cruise ?? engine etc.It's not rocket science if the climb seems weak level off build up airspeed hold about 70 or so for climb.If you have a giant Oak in front of you avoid it if your climb seems weak.Coupes aren't the best at climb but everything else about them is fun.Short field approaches are fun too- if you perfect the technique.Short field take offs are usually pucker factor plus!!! on a hot day off a grass strip. dennis 99564 in ILL The information contained in this message may be CONFIDENTIAL and is for the intended addressee only.
