I dont think its in the book but part of my NORMAL landing preparation is to at least unlock the windows.
Geez, I thought I was the only one who did that. I'm sure more than one person
is still puzzled about why, on downwind, I reach across and make sure the set-screws
are nice and loose.
It's probably silly, as with any kind of distortion on impact those things are gonna pop out
of the tracks like the gear doors of a hard-landed (retractable) Mooney.
