I also run TCP, and lean carefully (on a Marvel carb). I think I'd try and

get that mixture control working,
(which may require some carb clean-up) or you'll be running soupy rich 
above 5000 feet...a recipe for
lead-fouling.

Never had a problem, the plugs and such look pretty.

Marvel Mystery oil is illegal for use as an aircraft additive in 
certificated aircraft. Any fuel-related failure,
and your insurance company will look to invalidate your policy if the 
testing-lab finds it in there.

Remember: you're the customer. If your airport doesn't 'like' it but 
doesn't forbid it, perhaps they'd care to
put a MoGas pump in. Depending on where you're located ( check 
www.airnav.com ) you may be able
to find a neighboring airfield that pumps MoGas. However, check your fuel 
tanks for old-style (red) sloshing
compound, as MoGas additives have been known to cause it to slough off.
The 
'white' stuff is supposedly
okay.
