Prior to that I had a valve stick on me twice I also run TCP, and lean carefully (on a Marvel carb). I think I'd try and get that mixture control working, (which may require some carb clean-up) or you'll be running soupy rich above 5000 feet...a recipe for lead-fouling. Never had a problem, the plugs and such look pretty. Marvel Mystery oil is illegal for use as an aircraft additive in certificated aircraft. Any fuel-related failure, and your insurance company will look to invalidate your policy if the testing-lab finds it in there. Remember: you're the customer. If your airport doesn't 'like' it but doesn't forbid it, perhaps they'd care to put a MoGas pump in. Depending on where you're located ( check www.airnav.com ) you may be able to find a neighboring airfield that pumps MoGas. However, check your fuel tanks for old-style (red) sloshing compound, as MoGas additives have been known to cause it to slough off. The 'white' stuff is supposedly okay.
