Skyport has such a mold, but I'm going to bet it's not long enough.  It is

for our single lamp setup and the A2 is dual lamps, IIRC.

The plastic will take the shape of whatever you put it over, including all

the imperfections.  Plaster of Paris might be a little rough, sort of a 
frosted lens...  The one we use has an aluminum surface covered with 
flannel.  There is also a "press" that holds the plastic in contact with 
the mold as it cools.  We heat the plastic to 325F before putting it onto 
the mould.  Remember, you need to account for the thickness of the
material 
(.100 at least) so laying it over the outside of the wing would result in
a 
lens that would be too big overall.
