Hi Dan, I dont' know about the engine upgrade. However, with my previous coupe, the engine was upgraded from C75 to a C85 (years ago) before I owned it. The C75 prop was a McCauley cliptip 7351 which I understood was a standard for the C75. It was never changed until I owned the coupe. I discovered that a 71 is max. length for a C85. I had it trimmed and repitched to a 7148. That then seemed to be a good standard performance prop for the C85 (104 mph cruise and reasonable climb). roger ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dan Mooney" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, March 16, 2005 6:58 AM Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] PURCHASED A COUPE ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- I just got home with a 415C that I purchased in Fresno, Ca and flew her home to Collinsville, Ok. I want to upgrade the engine to 85hp. I was told that it requires a Carb Jet change and remark the tach? Is there a prop change? Can someone tell me where the best place to get the jet is? Any other helpful info would be greatly appreciated. Great little airplane.
