Something is missing here.  I pay about $1300 annually for my Bonanza insurance, hull @ $75K, 4 seats and a million $ smooth.  What are you not telling us?

AIG quoted me $1100 a year on a 415C; I'm 60 with some military time, but I asked them whether the 'Coupe made a difference and they said no.  They were quoting me "stated value" insurance.  I stated the value of the airframe at $18k.  But they never said the 'Coupe would require additional insurance over another type.  Hope this helps.  The age thing is crap.  Jimmy Doolittle was a better pilot in his '90s than most "right-aged" aviators are today!

Hello,
Reading  the latest post on Sport Pilots insurance reminded me to ask to anyone in our great coupe group, No pun intended, how or who can I get insurance from for less then $400 plus per year for only PL&PD.That was the cheapest I could find because the companies say that because I am 78 years old a student and especially that I am flying Ercoups. They said that if my plane was a Cessna it would be $200 cheaper. Can you believe that? Are the coups considered antiques of collector Items?
Any and all comments appreciated.
