In need of some advice on battery replacement. My current battery a Gill G-25M has been in the aircraft since 1997 with no problems until now and has decided to go south for the season. Wounder why?
I have been told this batery is no longer available as are the two aproved origional equip batterys Exide AC54 and a Reading R24L.
Can't find a listing for an approved battery. I found a Concord RG25XLC but they won't sell it to me unless I can find documentation that this battery is approved. I understand It needs to be a manifold vented battery or a sealed type battery
Anyone out there have any paperwork on this problem,
I need to take care of this ASAP. This grass strip has finally dried out and the weather is beautiful.
