I guess I missed something. What's wrong with Lexan? I have been using it
for years.

Subject: [COUPERS-TECH] Plexiglas vs Lexan

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any
advice in this forum.]----

Good Morning:

First, let me thank everyone who had earlier resonded to my question about

Lexan. I really appreciate all the helpful advice that members of this
forum

provide.

I've now gathered a better understanding of the two materials. I had the
idea earlier that Lexan would be the bee's knees somehow, but actually has

some disadvantages as compared to acrilyc.

So, I think I'll install normal plexiglas, but lightly tinted. My last
question then is, what would be the optimal thickness? The Lexan that I
put
in the rear windows is .060" thick. Can I go thicker than that? Would
there
be any benefit?

Thanks,

Norm Carrigg
