Before you dismiss Bob's offer you should know that having a prop
repitched
is not a big deal and it would be a good way to be sure that the prop he
(or anyone) is selling you is in good condition and that they will yellow
tag it. I have seen props that look just fine and they have one blade set
just a little off the other and they cause a fair amount of vibration. I
have also seen props that look great and they do not have sufficient metal
left to meet specification and can not be yellow tagged. So if the prop
Bob
has is a good one you can try it on your Coupe and see if the performance
meets your needs if not then have it repitched to a setting that will work
out right for you. You of course can do this with any prop that you find
except that there is a limit on the number of times a prop can be changed.
I do not know Bob so you need to make the deal that you want to make but
if
you find a good prop that is just 2" off in pitch give it some thought and
check with your local prop shop as they will probably repitch it for a
reasonable fee.

Best regards,
Vern
