Please use caution on this, Charles, because it is from memory.

The bolt that goes through the ball in the end of the control rod to the ailerons is a standard, AN part.

This is the AN#-#### format; where the first digit after the AN is the bolt size in 1/16th of an inch.  The one you need is as you describe: castle nut with a cotter pin.  Any A&P rated mechanic should be able to size it out.  Take in the old one and get one just like it.

The rod end bearings of the control linkage......not the bellcrank or those huge wing bracket bolts....

Let?s make sure were talking about the same animal.

There is a bolt that goes through the rod end bearing and then there are 4 bolts that hold the bracket to the wing root.  There is also a bolt that goes through the bearing in the bellcrank.  That gives us 6 to choose from.  If you can narrow it down a little, most everyone here can help.

Guys

I was bolting my wings back on after transporting it to my hanger (under a A&P supervision of course)......and found that a bolt was stripped that holds the control linkage that passes between the outer and inner wing.....it has a castle nut and needs a small cotter pin.....anybody know the part number? Univair says its a standard bolt and they only need the diameter and length...its a 46C model.....remember I'm a newbie...be gentle........
